THE HILLS
Inspired by the form of three adjoining hills, these curved pavilions provide additional shelter in Bellevue Park. The surface is then populated with smaller extrusions emulating the organic form of rolling hills, altogether adding to the playful essence of the park. Such forms were an accidental design outcome from experimentation in Grasshopper, achieved by the meshing of two curved surfaces. As the pavilions incorporate the existing greenery into their design, they cater to the needs of visitors by offering shelter and also facilitating a connection with nature.
